From my previous experience, I learned that consistency is a key to a blog success. According to a report by HubSpot, Companies doing 16+ posts a month get 3.5 times the more organic traffic.
So, deciding a frequency is crucial for a new blog. But, at the same time, you should not compromise on quality. (2 quality posts a month will get you more visitors and readership than 5 filler posts).

New blogs don’t easily rank as they don’t have backlinks. They don’t get shares because they don’t have readers.
Having high-quality content is only 50% of the task done. If you can’t get it in the front of users, it’s a waste of efforts.
You don’t need to be at all the places. Pick-up the relevant social channels, user communities, related blog posts, and 3rd party forums. Get in front of your audience and influencer of your niche.
