Apple Extends Keyboard Repair Program to 2018 MacBook Pro and Air
If you’re one of the unlucky ones that have experienced the stuck MacBook keys, it seems like Apple may not have fixed the issue with their latest MacBooks. The 2018 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have both been added to the keyboard repair program list.
Apple was reported to add an additional silicone layer between the key mechanism and the keyplates themselves in order to prevent dust. Dust has reportedly been the biggest cause for stuck MacBook keys with the controversial butterfly switches. This, however, does not seem to have solved the issue as some of Apple’s latest devices are being added to the repair and replacement program.
This must be disappointing news to anyone who bought any of the 2018 MacBook models as the keyboard issue has been known for almost three years at this point, starting with the introduction of butterfly switched with the MacBook 2016 (yes, just “MacBook”. That happened.).
If you’re on one of the many unlucky ones to be hit with this defect, make sure to book an appointment with your local Apple Genius Bar.
What are your thoughts? Did you just buy a 2018 MacBook or have you experienced this dreadful issue? Let us know your experience in the comments below. Also Read:10 Websites to Watch Indian Live Television

Adobe Accepting Photoshop for iPad Beta Testing Applications
Last year, Adobe announced that it would be releasing the full version of Photoshop to the iPad in 2019. Now, the company is sending out emails to Creative Cloud subscribers informing them that they can sign up to beta test Photoshop CC for iPad.
Interested users are required to fill a Google Form after which if their application is approved, they will receive an email from Adobe as to how to try out iPad for Photoshop.
While Adobe already offers Photoshop on the iOS App Store, it is a cut down version of the desktop app which lacks many of the advanced features. The company demonstrated a full-fledged version of the app back at its MAX conference last year. In the demo, Adobe showed how it was able to edit and manipulate a multi-layer PSD file without any performance hiccups on an iPad Pro.
Whenever the iPad version lands, it will sync all changes with Creative Cloud. It goes without saying that Adobe will offer the app as a part of its Creative Cloud subscription rather than letting users make a one-time purchase.
Adobe has already revealed that the first version of Photoshop for iPad will not have the same set of features as its desktop counterpart. Instead, Adobe will keep adding new features to it with regular updates. By doing this, the company is able to ensure that it is able to bring Photoshop to the iPad for its customers as soon as possible.
Are you excited about Photoshop coming to the iPad? Or you do think the existing suite of image editing apps you use are more than powerful enough to get the job done? Drop a comment and let us know!

Apple Wins Lawsuit Over Group FaceTime Audio Bug
Back in January of this year, it was discovered that Apple’s Group FaceTime had a bug. This would allow anyone calling to hear the person they were calling even before they answered the phone. It was quickly dubbed the “eavesdropping” bug. And one particular lawyer took exception.
Before January ended, there was a report that a lawyer out of Houston, Texas, by the name of Larry Williams II, ran afoul of this bug. According to him, the Group FaceTime bug made it possible for someone else to listen in on sworn testimony. As a result, Williams II sued Apple and went to court over it.Also Read:10 Websites to Watch Indian Live Television

Well, it turns out that Apple has won that particular decision. A court has ruled in favor of Apple and dismissed the case entirely. The court’s decision came in part because it ruled that Williams II did not provide sufficient evidence that Apple knew of the issue. What’s more, the court decided that the particular audio bug was “unreasonably dangerous” to be a valid complaint in this regard.
“Williams’s petition does not allege facts about any available alternative design. He fails to allege facts about the iOS 12.1 software as to whether the defect that allegedly allowed a third party to “eavesdrop” on his group FaceTime call was “unreasonable” for the product’s ordinary use. Williams’s generalized allegation that the iOS 12.1 software was “unreasonably dangerous” and caused him injury falls short of the Rule 8 threshold.
Williams’s petition recites the pleading elements, but it does not allege facts that could show Apple’s knowledge of the defect or that Apple could reasonably have foreseen that an unknown third party would listen to Williams’s group FaceTime call without his permission.
Williams’s claim also fails because he did not state facts that could show that Apple’s alleged negligent design or manufacture of the iOS 12.1 software proximately caused his injury.”
Apple had to temporarily disable Group FaceTime after the audio bug was discovered. And the company wouldn’t fix the issue until near the end of February, when it released iOS 12.1.4. While this was definitely a major problem for Apple at the time, it appears that most people have forgotten about it these days.Sponsor ads:

How to Perform iCloud Sign Out without Password?
Common Scenarios That You May Need to Sign Out iCloud without Password
There are many reasons as to why you would want to delete iCloud from your iPhone. Such issues include:
If you acquire a secondhand iPhone or iPad with the previous owner’s Apple ID still associated with it.
If your friend or family member gifts you an iOS device without erasing all contents and settings.
You have more than one iCloud account and would like to use another account on the iOS device.
If you forgot the password to your Apple ID/iCloud account and can’t reset your password because of 2-step verification or 2-factor authentication.
If your iOS device is refusing or rejecting your Apple ID password as incorrect.
If your Apple ID or iCloud account is hacked and the password changed.
In all these scenarios, you will agree with me that the need to perform an iCloud sign out without password abounds. However, this need is more expressed when you urgently need to use the iOS device to access a service that requires an Apple ID password. Don’t worry! The solutions to sign out iCloud account without the password will be shared in the following paragraphs of this post.
Can I Sign Out iCloud/Apple ID without Password?
Removing an iCloud account from an iOS device would require you to input the correct password to the old account that’s presently in the iPhone or iPad before you can sign out. Therefore, if you can’t remember the password to the account that’s presently associated with the iOS device, it’s not possible to sign out of iCloud using Apple Settings app.
