Tip 1. General Prerequisites You Need to Know

Tip 2. Restore to Factory Settings before Flashing

Tip 3. Download the Latest Odin Version

Tip 4.Try Some Other Flashing Tools with More Ease

4.1. SP Flash Tool - MediaTek Devices only

4.2. Fixppo Repair Tool - Recommended
General Prerequisites You Need to Know

Before you advance within this article, you should make sure that you have completed these steps before trying to flash your device using Odin. These are simple and should be completed before attempting to flash your Samsung.

Charge Battery - Make sure that the battery on your phone is not completely dead. Charge it up to a percentage that will keep your phone out of battery saving mode (above 30% is a minimum recommendation).

Disable Antivirus - Your PC could be detecting Odin and/or your phone as a threat to your PC. When you download the firmware that you would like to flash on your device, if it is not detected as malicious or suspicious by your antivirus, then disable your antivirus. This is because you know that the firmware that you will be using is not malicious. Then try to flash your device again.

Accessories - Disconnect any accessories that you have been using with your Samsung, such as SD cards, SIM cards, and headphones before attempting to flash the device. These could potentially interfere with the flashing process and therefore cause a "Flash Write Failure" error.
Restore to Factory Settings before Flashing

Flashing your Android phone will automatically restore the device to factory settings so make sure you make a backup of your important data before flashing. However, occasionally you could get the "Flash write Failure" issue if your device has some data on it. You may need to factory reset the Android and then attempt to flash it using Odin.

Boot your device into recovery mode.

Navigate to "wipe data/factory reset" using the volume buttons.

Use the power button to select this and confirm your option.

Wait until all the data has been removed (this could take a while).

Restart the device and then attempt to flash your Samsung.
Download the Latest Odin Version

You may have installed Odin a while back and are trying to flash your Samsung whilst using this older version. However, it is best if you use the latest version of Odin. As newer versions are released, the support for different devices increases. Furthermore, any bugs and issues present in older versions are removed as the developers find them. Simply go onto the Odin website, download the latest version and then install it on your PC.

Try Some Other Flashing Tools with More Ease

Open the "flash_tool.exe" file and then locate the "Download" tab within the program. Ensure that you are on this tab.

Click on the "choose" button which is on the line that says "Scatter-loading File", locate and then select the scatter .txt file under the Firmware folder for your downloaded ROM.

Choose the download button and then connect your device.

As mentioned previously, this is only a brief method on how to use the SP Flash Tool when using Odin. For a full guide on how to successfully flash your Android using the SP Flash Tool for MediaTek devices, search for it online.

iPhone Passcode Changed Itself! No Worries [Solved]

Questions

My iPhone passcode changed itself when I updated to the latest version of iOS, and all of the sudden its asking for six-digit security code to unlock the iPhone. But I never had a six-digits security iPhone passcode.”

“iPhone 6S here. I restarted and pump...My code doesn’t work. Just got the answer ‘That cannot happen!’ from Custome service. Anyway my phone is locked now. Why iPhone passcode changed itself? Don’t know how to do.”

We got similar questions -- all about the problem that iPhone passcode changed itself. For this, we write this post as a guide for readers to solve it.

Part 1. Why is My iPhone Passcode Changed Itself?

As part of its drive to increase security, since the launch of iOS 9, Apple now and ever requests a six-digit passcode instead of a four-digit one when setting up a new or newly updated iPad or iPhone. When we update the iOS version, or restart the phone, then it is possible that iPhone passcode change itself from a four-digit code to six-digit, or the reverse. This can be resulted from the data corruption, bugs of the apps, that someone changed your phone code, the security measure of Apple, or purely, an error of the phone itself.
One certain thing is that Apple won’t change our iPhone passcode as they don’t have it. When going to custom service we are likely to get the answer “It is impossible to happen!” However, we need to solve this issue. If you enter the wrong passcode too many times, you will see a message that your device is disabled. You’ll need use iTunes and erase your device which deletes all your data, unless you made a resent backup. Or you can also try the ultimate solution to unlock without limitations.

Part 2. Try These Tips If iPhone Passcode Changed Itself

#1. iPhone Passcode Changed Itself? Use iTunes

2. If the downloading process lasts more than 15 minutes, force restart again.

Security Researchers Fool Face ID Using Glasses and Tape

During the Black Hat 2019 conference, security researchers demonstrated an attack using which one could bypass Face ID. However, there’s a catch: it requires that the user of the iPhone/iPad is unconscious.

Researchers from Tencent took advantage of the “liveness” detection feature of Face ID which analyses the background noise, focus blur, and other aspects to ensure it is looking at a real person and not their 3D model or photo. One of the issue with Face ID is that it does not extract 3D information from the area around the eye if it detects that the user is wearing glasses.

The researchers took advantage of this very weakness to bypass Face ID. They created a glass prototype dubbed “X-glasses” which comprises of putting up black tape on the lenses and white tape inside the black tape.

Researchers specifically honed in on how liveness detection scans a user’s eyes. They discovered that the abstraction of the eye for liveness detection renders a black area (the eye) with a white point on it (the iris). And, they discovered that if a user is wearing glasses, the way that liveness detection scans the eyes changes.

It would be extremely challenging for anyone to pull this hack in real life to bypass Face ID. This is because it would first require that the owner of the iPhone is sleeping or unconscious. Then, they would have to place the glasses over the eyes of that person without waking them up. This is not a hack that can be easily pulled off by anyone. Nonetheless, Tencent researchers suggested that this issue can be resolved by using identity authentication and increasing the weight of audio and video synthesis detection. If you lost data after you updated to a new iPhone, you can always use Gihosoft iPhone Data Recovery to get the data back from the old iPhone or backup. You may also like: iphonerecovery.com

How to Use the Editing Tools in Photos

In iOS 13, Apple has introduced a redesigned photo editing interface that improves upon earlier versions by making it easier to select tools and apply adjustments in the stock Photos app.

Previously, the photo editing tools in iOS where hidden away in expandable subsections of a vertical menu, which meant finding the one you wanted was sometimes a chore.

Apple has replaced this menu with a horizontal strip of icons that means you can simply swipe to the tool you want and quickly make the desired adjustment. Let's take a look at how it works.

Launch the stock Photos app on your iPhone or iPad and select a picture from your Photo library using the Photos tab. If it isn't a recent photo that you want to edit, use the Days, Months, and Years views to whittle down your collection, or select a photo from one of your albums via the Albums tab.

Once you've selected a picture, tap Edit in the top-right corner of the screen to enter the black editing interface, and then tap the Adjust icon (it looks like a control knob) at the bottom of the screen.

A horizontal strip of adjustment tools will appear below the photo. Tap Auto – the first tool in the strip – to select it, and you'll notice the horizontal dial light up below the toolset.

Auto uses intelligent algorithms to optimally tune the other tools and enhance your photo, but you can manually adjust its intensity level by moving the dial with a swipe of your finger. You can easily return to the auto-tuned level by returning the dial back to the white dot.

Swipe along the strip of other tools and you'll find that they all work similarly. The only difference is that when you swipe along the dial to change the adjustment level, the selected tool's icon will display a number that you can use as a reference to refine the effect you're previewing.

The other adjustment tools available in the horizontal strip include Exposure, Brilliance, Highlights, Shadows, Contrast, Brightness, Black Point, Saturation, Vibrance, Warmth, Tint, Sharpness, Definition, Noise Reduction, and Vignette. Simply tap Done when you're happy to apply and save your adjustments.

Remember, you can use these editing tools whenever you take a picture using the built-in Camera app – you don't even have to unlock your device to edit the photo you just shot.Sponsor ads:

Apple Extends Keyboard Repair Program to 2018 MacBook Pro and Air

If you’re one of the unlucky ones that have experienced the stuck MacBook keys, it seems like Apple may not have fixed the issue with their latest MacBooks. The 2018 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have both been added to the keyboard repair program list.

Apple was reported to add an additional silicone layer between the key mechanism and the keyplates themselves in order to prevent dust. Dust has reportedly been the biggest cause for stuck MacBook keys with the controversial butterfly switches. This, however, does not seem to have solved the issue as some of Apple’s latest devices are being added to the repair and replacement program.

This must be disappointing news to anyone who bought any of the 2018 MacBook models as the keyboard issue has been known for almost three years at this point, starting with the introduction of butterfly switched with the MacBook 2016 (yes, just “MacBook”. That happened.).

If you’re on one of the many unlucky ones to be hit with this defect, make sure to book an appointment with your local Apple Genius Bar.

What are your thoughts? Did you just buy a 2018 MacBook or have you experienced this dreadful issue? Let us know your experience in the comments below. Also Read:10 Websites to Watch Indian Live Television
